We are currently seeking experienced Cable Bolt Operators to join our team at Cowal Gold Mine, located near West Wyalong, NSW. This is an outstanding opportunity to secure a long-term 5-year contract working across both development and production mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of cable bolts in underground development and production areas
  • Safe and efficient operation of a Sandvik DS421 Cable Bolter
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and quality
  • Working collaboratively with underground mining crews
  • Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment issues
Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience operating a Sandvik DS421 Cable Bolter
  • Underground hard rock mining experience
  • Experience in both development and production environments
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Current driver's licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
